Southwest Louisiana based artist, Ashley Royer, is passionate about pyrography, painting, and illustration. She graduated with a BA in Visual Arts, summa cum laude, from McNeese State University in 2010. She co-founded her art business AKA Cosplay and Art with Kat Godsey in 2015. Ashley is the Creative Coordinator at the Imperial Calcasieu Museum. She has been designing and curating exhibitions for multiple galleries over the years. In 2021, Ashley and Kat were both awarded the Lake Charles Mayor’s Artist of the Year.
